dc.description.abstractIn 2022, the economy grew by 4.7 percent compared to 4.9 percent in 2021 based on the new series of 2015 base year. In 2022/23, headline inflation continued to maintain single digit averaged at 4.6 percent compared to 4.0 percent in 2021/22. The increase in inflation was attributed to the rise of global energy and food prices.
