Tanzania’s 2023 Voluntary National Review (VNR) Report on the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
(Ministry of Finance, 2023) The United Republic of Tanzania
It is my pleasure to present the second Voluntary National Review (VNR 2023) of the United Republic of Tanzania, covering both Mainland Tanzania and Tanzania Zanzibar. Building upon the VNR 2019 experience; this VNR 2023 preparation has been broadly consultative, participatory, iterative, transparent, inclusive and objective. The process engaged all stakeholders in the country. The stakeholders’ coverage reassured all participants of the 2030 Agenda principle of “Leave No One Behind”. At this early point, on behalf of the citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania, I would take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to all who gave their support to the very demanding and worthy effort.

Tanzania’s Progress Report on the Implementation of Agenda 2063 :
(Ministry of Finance and Planning, 2019) Tanzania, United Republic
It is my pleasure to present the Progress Report on the implementation of Agenda 2063 in the United Republic of Tanzania (URT), covering seven years of the first Ten-Year Implementation Plan. This report documents policies, strategies and programmes that the country has been implementing towards achievement of Agenda 2063, and provides update on progress. The report also avails opportunity for other countries to share lessons learned. Tanzania is committed to implementing global and regional development frameworks and has demonstrated this through periodic reporting of progress as required. A strong political commitment and robust national development frameworks have supported such commitment. The experience gained in preparing progress reports with respect to Millennium Development Goals, Sustainable Development Goals through Voluntary National Report, Malabo Declaration etc., has informed preparation of this report.
