The government budget will continue to focus on priority areas stipulated in the short, medium and long-term development plans. In the medium term, the government will implement the priorities outlined in the National Five-Year Development Plan 2021/22 – 2025/26 which are categorized into five areas: realizing an inclusive and competitive economy; deepening industrialization and service provision; investment and trade promotion; human development; and skills development.
