Abstract
The United Republic of Tanzania was formed on 26 April 1964 out of the union of two Eastern Africa sovereign states of Tanganyika and Zanzibar. This Consolidated Financial Statements for the financial year 2018/2019, provide a record of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania with the Ministerial transactions that crosses over; and includes statement of financial performance, statement of financial position, cash flows statement, statement of change in net assets / equity, notes to the financial statements and statement of comparison of budget versus actual for the year ended 30 June 2019.
