Abstract
The FYDP II (2016/17 – 2020/21) with the theme of “Nurturing Industrialization for Economic Transformation and Human Development” is the merger of the FYDP I and MKUKUTA II frameworks is geared towards transforming Tanzania into a middle-income country through industrialization and Human development. FYDP II embeds the fight against abject poverty through enhancing income security, access to social services, responsive governance and social protection FYDP II also accommodates Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators and targets in light of country conditions and environment. The documents elaborate also key milestones and the results frameworks for M&E system. The document begins with a recap of the background situation about M&E including its evolution, and how it is coordinated. The document also elaborates the implementation duration and the financing framework for M&E system.
