The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has continued to implement the Tanzania COVID-19 Socio-economic Response and Recovery Plan (TCRP) that focuses in addressing socio-economic effects of COVID-19 pandemic in the country
through the concessional loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the Rapid Credit Facility (RCF) window. The TCRP intends to revamp the mostly hit sectors of the national economy namely education, tourism, health, and water as
well as support the poor households, who are beneficiaries of the Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF).
