Item The Economic Survey 2011(Ministry of Finance and Planning, 2011-08) The United Republic of TanzaniaIn 2011, real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 6.4 percent compared to 7.0 percent in 2010. The slowdown in growth was a result of drought in different parts of the country, which affected agricultural sector and power supply which eventually affected industrial production and other sectors that depends on electricity.Item The Economic Survey 2012(Ministry of Finance and Planning, 2012-08) The United Republic of TanzaniaIn 2012, real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 6.9 percent compared to 6.4 percent in 2011. The growth was a result of improved transport and communication infrastructures; improved industrial production following Government’s effort to ensure reliable power supply; as well as the use of alternative power sources for industrial production. In addition, the growth was on account of improved agricultural sector following favourable weather condition as well as Government efforts to timely supply subsidies on improved seeds and fertilizers.Item Hali ya Uchumi wa Taifa kwa Mwaka 2024(Wizara ya Fedha, 2025-06) The United Republic of TanzaniaMwaka 2024, Pato halisi la Taifa kwa bei za mwaka 2015 lilifikia shilingi bilioni 156,635.32 ikilinganishwa na shilingi bilioni 148,521.02 mwaka 2023, sawa na ukuaji wa asilimia 5.5 ikilinganishwa na ukuaji wa asilimia 5.1 mwaka 2023. Ukuaji huo ulichangiwa na: utekelezaji endelevu wa miradi ya kimkakati na ya kielelezo inayohusisha miundombinu ya nishati na usafirishaji; kuanza kwa uzalishaji wa umeme katika Bwawa la Kufua Umeme wa Maji la Julius Nyerere; kuanza kwa usafirishaji wa abiria kupitia Reli ya Kati ya Kiwango cha Kimataifa - SGR kwa kipande cha kutoka Dar es Salaam hadi Dodoma; kuongezeka kwa mikopo kwa sekta binafsi; usimamizi madhubuti wa sera za fedha; hali nzuri ya hewa iliyoimarisha uzalishaji wa mazao ya kilimo; na uwekezaji wa Serikali katika huduma za jamii, ikiwemo elimu, afya, maji na hifadhi ya jamii
