dc.description.abstract	The Government of Tanzania adopted the Government Financial Statistics Manual 2014 (GFSM2014) and updated its chart of accounts to comply with the requirement of the international standards. In July, 2016 the Ministry of Finance and Planning through the Accountant General’s Department formed a task force to finalize the preparation of the GFS code in accordance to the manual 2014. The Updated information was the adopted by the Tanzania GFSTWG which was formed by the PST to conform to the requirements of the EAC. In December, 2016 the GFSTWG updated the final version of the GFS and COA and incorporated the recommendations issued by IMF GFS Technical Assistance team	en_US
