dc.description.abstractTanzania COVID-19 Socioeconomic Response and Recovery Plan (TCRP) indicates the country’s preparedness for addressing the COVID-19 pandemic. After securing the IMF’s concessional loan amounting to USD 567.25 million, equivalent to 1,310.65 billion shillings for implementing various COVID-19 response projects, TCRP is being implemented in priority sectors that had been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic such as health, tourism, water, education and social protection. The implementation of TCRP involves multi-stakeholders across the Government that include Ministry of Water (MoW); Ministry of Health (MOH), President's Office-Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST), Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism (MNRT), and Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF). with the Ministry of Finance and Planning (MOFP) being the overall coordinator.en_US
